渋谷と池尻大橋の間に「ラディアン」という物件があります。
築20年が経ちましたが、コンクリート打ち放しの内外は状態がとても良く、
味のある空間を創り出しています。

There is an apartment called "RADIAN"
between Shibuya and Ikejiriohashi.
It's been 20years since this apartment was build,
but the condition of wall concretes are still great
and they are making cool vintage taste in and outside of the space.



お部屋には大きな窓がついており、とても明るいです。
玄関を入った所に収納が沢山あるので、
ワンルームのお部屋はスッキリ使えます。

The room is bright with a big window.
There are plenty of closets at the entrance
so that you can use the room simple.



キッチンも一人暮らしには十分な広さ。
シンクの下を収納にすれば、食器棚は必要ありません。

Kitchen has enough space for single living.
There is no need for cabinet if you make storage
under the kitchen sink.



窓の外には、今は小学校があって緑が見えますが、
昔は全面日本軍の基地だったそう。
その面影もすっかりなくなり、周りは静かな住宅街となっています。

You can see elementary school from the window,
but all those spaces just beyond the front street were
used to be Japanese army camp.
Now, all the area has turned out to be a quiet residential area.



たまに入居者で集まって素敵な中庭でバーベキューをすることも！

Sometimes residents gather into the beautiful patio
to do BBQ!

我が家に「iRobot　ルンバ」がやってきました。

前から気にはなっていましたが、

機械が勝手に掃除・・・ってどうなんだろう。
部屋の隅とかしっかり掃除できるの？？

などの理由から躊躇していた代物です。


RADIAN（ラディアン）のオーナーさん宅にお邪魔をした際、
「iRobot　ルンバ」を発見！

・拭き掃除したように床がちゃんときれいになる
・留守中に掃除ができるので、なにより楽
・床に物を置かない生活になるので部屋が片付きやすい

などのお話しを伺い、購入を決めました。


実際使ってみて、部屋の隅もしっかりきれいになっていました。
ヒゲのようなブラシがくるくる回り、隅のホコリをかきとるように掃除してくれます。


裏はこんな感じです。

掃除が終わると自分で充電をしに戻るのですが、
車の駐車のように切り替えながら充電しにいく様子がちょっと可愛い。
ハンドル操作は確実に私の駐車テクより上手です（泣）

実際使ってみて、かなり便利な家電です。
部屋がきれいだと気持ちいいですよね。
気になっている方がいれば、ぜひ購入をお勧めします。

オペラシティから近く、新宿まで自転車で行けてしまう便利な所に
『Eハウス』という物件があります。
竣工は1996年ですが、
先日外装を一斉に塗り替えてとてもキレイになりました。
東京都都市計画局長賞
東京建築士会住宅建築賞　等、
数多くの賞を受賞しています。

There is a room called "E house" at 20 minutes bike ride from Shinjuku.
It's placed really close from the Opera City Hall
and the area is very convenient.
It's build in 1996, and the owner has just finished
facade re-painting at the end of last month.
This house has received various awards to this day.



お部屋のエントランスがとても広く、
開口部が多くて抜けがあるのが特徴です。

The feature of this room is spacious entrance hall
and many windows.
You feel the space even bigger than it actually is
by this opening effect.



中心にお風呂やキッチン等があって空間が別れているため、
プライベートとパブリックを明確に分けることができます。

There are bathroom and kitchen in the middle of the room
so that you can clearly separate the private space
and semi-public space.



奥のお部屋は日がサンサンと入ってくるため、
冬でも日だまりができてとても暖かく明るいです。
夏は窓を開けると風が抜けて、
とても気持ちがいいです。

Since the sunshine pours into the the room and make a sunny spot,
the room is warm and bright in the winter.
As wind goes through the windows,
the room is fresh and comfortable in the summer.



駐車場もあるので、
車をお持ちの方にも最適です。

There is also a parking spot.



これだけ開口部が沢山ある賃貸も珍しいですが、
この立地でこのお家賃でこの使い易い広さとプランというのも
なかなか都心にはありません。

私事ですが、年末年始のお休みに豊田市美術館で行われていた石上純也展にいってきました。
ヴェネチアビエンナーレで金獅子賞を受賞した「雨を建てる」の繊細さに驚きました。
また「linea」「il cielo」の設計者である山岡先生と偶然現地でお会いして、年末のご挨拶をしました。
会場は豊田市美術館（設計：谷口吉生）

ランドスケープのデザインはピーター ウォーカー。ここは確か水田が縞状になっているところです。
その他にも、最近改修された名古屋大学豊田講堂（設計：槙文彦）
ルイ・ヴィトン 名古屋栄店（設計：青木淳）。
サンライズ栄ビル（設計監修：安藤忠雄、設計：三菱地所設計）

 

を見て回り、久しぶりに建築学生のような旅行でした。こういうのもたまにはいいですね。
よい建築が世の中に増えるお手伝いを今年もできればと思います。

JRの恵比寿駅と、南北線・日比谷線の白金台駅との間に
TPOの物件が３つあります。
今回はそのうちの一つ、『barres』を紹介します。

I would like to introduce "barres" for this time.



バレは都心へのアクセスが良いのはもちろん、
静かな住宅街にあるので落ち着いた佇まいをしているのも特徴です。

but very elegant.



それぞれのお部屋に専用のエントランスポーチがあります。

Each room has its own porch.



入口を入ると白いタイルが一直線にキッチンまで続きます。
仕切り扉がついているので、分けることもできます。

There is a sequence of the space from the entrance to
the kitchen with small white tiles.
But you can choose to separate those spaces
and hide the kitchen with a door for a situation
when you invite your friends to the room.

一見収納がないように見えますが、
コンクリートのピーコン穴を使えば、
棚やフック等をつけて収納を作ることができます。

There is no cabinet in the kitchen but you can create them
by using screw whole of the concrete.



バレは現在お部屋が一つしか空いていません。
この２０１号室は水廻りが分かれているワンルームタイプです。
広々とリビングを取ってもいいですし、
可動式家具でお部屋を二つにわけても使えます。
小規模の事務所としても最適ですね。

There is only one room left for barres right now.
This room, 201, is studio type with kitchen and bath room separated.
Using the room for one big sofa space would be great,
but you can also make the room into two spaces
with movable cabinets.
Applying as a small office would be perfect as well.

明日は有馬記念。今年はとても豪華なラインナップで楽しみです。
今日は競馬とゆかりのある地名のご紹介です。


DICEの最寄りのバス停の名前が「元競馬場」というのですが、

ここは昔「目黒競馬場」があった場所なんですね。

今はとても感じのよい住宅街です。
バスの本数も多くて、とても便利ですよ。

シーラカンスK&Hが設計した『HHH』という物件が、
永福町にあります。
1階と2階にはシーラカンスK&Hの事務所が入っています。

There is an apartment called "HHH" designed by
Coelacanth K&H Architects Inc.
in Eifukucho on Keio-Inokashira line.
1st and 2nd floors are their design office.



長方形のシンプルな間取りで開口部が大きいので、
事務所やアトリエ利用には最適です。
アウトレットも壁に沿って床に数カ所あり、
配線もすっきりできます。

Rooms are applicable for office use
as the plan is simply rectangular and
there are big openings.
There are some outlets under the floor
along the wall which makes you easier
to organize computer cables.



片面はピーコンの穴をそのままにしてあるので、
棚やフックとして利用できます。
もう片面は一直線の壁で、
机や本棚等をずらりと並べるにはぴったりです。

One side of the wall is left with
screw wholes (the ones appear
when concrete is constructed)
so that you can use them as
cabinet and hook.
The other side is simply a linear wall.
Great for placing book shelves and desks.



ポイントはお部屋の奥にある磨りガラス窓を
どのような空間として利用するか。
ぼんやり明るいので、
緑を置いてミーティングスペースにするも良し、
大きめのテーブルを置いて作業場にするのもありですね。

The key of this room is
how you can apply the space of
translucent window.It's blurry bright
and makes you feel calm.
How about placing some greens and
make it into a meeting space,
or it's also good to have a little bit
bigger table to use as a group working space.



お風呂場やトイレはすごく明るくて開放的です。
住居を事務所として利用するところは
どこもお風呂場を物置としてつぶしがちですが、
ここは光がサンサンと入ってきて明るいので、
思い切ってオープンに利用しましょう。
せっかくだから、ただ物を置くのではなく、
色々工夫してみてください。

Bathroom is amazingly bright with
direct sunlight from the south.
Most of the people who use residential
apartment as an office often close the
bathroom and turn it into a storage,
which is totally worthless in case of this room.
Please use a little time and brain to organize
this precious bathroom space if you make it
into a storage.



シンプルだからこそ融通が効くのですが、
シンプルであるが故に使い方に頭を使います。
家具で仕切ってお部屋を作れるくらいに広さがあるので、
住居としても快適に使えます。
